Halifax city tour

Join your kilted guide for a historical sightseeing tour of Halifax, one of Nova Scotia's most unique cities. You'll get an excellent overview of Halifax on a 1-hour tour aboard a double-decker bus, and enjoy live narration about the sights you see including the City Hall, Government House and the Victorian Halifax Public Gardens.

At your selected departure time, meet your kilted guide at Halifax's Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, where you'll board a double-decker bus for a 1-hour city sightseeing tour.

Enjoy unobstructed views of the city and live narration from your guide as you cruise past historic sites and landmarks such as the Spring Garden Road area, the Province House, Old Town Clock, St Paul's Church, City Hall, Grand Parade, Government House and Point Pleasant Park. You'll aslo see the Victorian Halifax Public Gardens and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Park.

Your ride will be filled with historical anecdotes about Halifax's war years and the tragic Halifax Explosion in 1917, when much of the city was devastated by the detonation of the French cargo ship SS Mont-Blanc.
