Discover Royal London at its finest on a half-day tour of the city’s most famous royal residence - Buckingham Palace.  Trace the footsteps of generations of the British Royal Family, as you explore where they live and learn about their lives in the London spotlight.

Your tour of Royal London starts as your air-conditioned coach takes you to the Royal Mews (stables), located in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. Here you'll see the Gold State Coach, which is used for coronations, royal weddings and other official Royal engagements. The stables are home to the horses that play an important role in The Queen's official and ceremonial duties.

Move onto Buckingham Palace, and make the most of this rare opportunity to explore the home of the Queen Elizabeth II. Here you will see the lavish State Apartments and the stunning Throne Room, where formal royal wedding photographs are traditionally taken.

The Summer Opening of the State Rooms also includes the special exhibition Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration.
This spectacular exhibition shows the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years. It includes a number of The Queen’s personal jewels - those inherited by Her Majesty or acquired during her reign. The exhibition reveals how many of these extraordinary stones have undergone a number of transformations, having been re-cut or incorporated into new settings during their fascinating history

If you don't want to head straight back to Victoria Station after your tour of Buckingham Palace, stay and take a look around the garden. This is the only place in the grounds where photos are allowed to be taken, so make sure you bring your camera for some great external shots!
