Make the most of your Christmas Eve in London on this day trip to some of England’s top sights – Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover. You’ll tour Leeds Castle before it opens to the public, and then you’ll see the famous Canterbury Cathedral and enjoy a fish and chips lunch. End your day admiring the White Cliffs of Dover on the English coast.

Leaving London on your Christmas Eve day trip, you’ll drive through Greenwich, which has a wealth of maritime history. You will see the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Naval College and the Old Royal Observatory.

As you arrive at Leeds Castle, you will quickly understand why Lord Conway described it as the "loveliest castle in the world." Set in the middle of a natural lake and surrounded by 500 acres (200 hectares) of parkland and gardens, Leeds Castle is quite beautiful. The Christmas Eve tour gives you the opportunity to explore the castle before the doors open to the general public, allowing you to truly experience its atmosphere of tranquility.

After your tour, you’ll have time to explore the castle grounds, where you will find an aviary, a maze and the Lady Baillie Garden with views over the lake.

You will then head to Canterbury, where you will enjoy a lunch of that British favorite – fish and chips – at Pantelli's restaurant. Continue to Canterbury Cathedral, the most important church in the Anglican faith. You will be amazed by its stunning architecture, dating back more than 900 years.

Finally, you’ll travel to Dover to see its famous white chalk cliffs and Dover Castle, overlooking the busy harbor and the English Channel. Enjoy the fresh sea air before returning to London.

Please note: Canterbury  Cathedral  will be closed to visitors on Christmas Eve; you will only see the exterior.
