2 night seville experience with city tour and flamenco show

Visit Seville, the sultry capital of southern Spain, and enjoy a city tour, flamenco show and arrival transfer plus two nights of 4-star superior hotel accommodation! After seeing the sights at your own pace, explore Seville on a morning sightseeing tour. Admire the city’s big-name attractions like Real Alcazar Palace, Seville Cathedral and Plaza de España, and then visit Tablao el Arenal – a prestigious flamenco bar – to watch a typically fiery and flamboyant flamenco show.

Day 1:
Start your 2-night tour with a transfer from Seville Airport or Santa Justa Station to your hotel. Check in, and then spend the rest of your day at leisure, exploring independently. Perhaps visit Seville Alcazar, a UNESCO-listed 14th-century fortress that’s said to be modeled on Granada’s Alhambra, or explore the picture-perfect city neighborhood of Santa Cruz. All entrance fees, food and drinks are payable at your own expense.

Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then set off to see the city sights with a guide. After a hotel pickup, explore Seville by minibus while learning about the city and its history. Once an important center in Spain’s Islamic caliphate, the sunny city of Seville went on to be ruled by the Castilians before being named capital of the autonomous Andalusia region. The different rulers each stamped their mark on Seville, and you’ll see countless examples of their architectural legacies around town.

Standout sites that are visited include Real Alcazar Palace, with its medley of Mudejar and Gothic architecture, and Seville Cathedral – the city’s stunning showpiece. Built around the 13th century, the UNESCO-listed cathedral was created to demonstrate the city’s wealth, and that goal was certainly achieved – it’s widely known for being the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Head inside both to explore with your guide, and then continue your tour to Maria Luisa Park.

Stroll around the park’s gardens, admiring the Moorish sculptures that abound, and then visit Plaza de España – a vibrant square that boasts a giant fountain in its center. Finish your tour in the center of town, and then spend your afternoon at leisure.

Enjoy lunch and dinner at your hotel or in town (own expense), and then head to Tablao el Arenal, a renowned flamenco bar, in the evening. Take a seat and enjoy your show, seeing up to 15 of Seville’s best flamenco dancers strut their stuff on stage. Expressing Spanish gypsy culture through spellbinding choreography, the flamenco is performed to music from the venue’s guitar players and singers. Clap along, enjoy a drink or dinner (own expense), and then make your own way back to your hotel after the show.
