City Sightseeing Bike Tour (3 hours)
Starting from a central meeting point near Schillerpark, your guide will lead you past Vienna’s most popular highlights on this morning bike tour. Pass such attractions as Heldenplatz (a plaza known as Heroes’ Square in English) and Volksgarten (a garden known for its roses and Empress Elizabeth statue), and then make your way past the Parliament building, the Gothic-style Rathaus (town hall) and the Burgtheater (Europe’s second-oldest theater, dating from the 18th century). Continue to impressive St Stephan's Cathedral before passing the Albertina Museum. Finally, return to the Vienna State Opera on the Ringstrasse.

You’ll have 1 hour of free time to get something to eat if you wish (own expense) before meeting your guide at the same location for your next bike adventure.

Cultural and Danube Bike Tour (3 hours)
Starting again from the meeting point at the corner Schillerplatz and Elisabethstraße, your professional guide will fill you in on some Vienna history as you start pedaling past more city sights, making your way to the Danube. Ride to Karlsplatz, a town square known for its iconic Karlskirche (St Charles’sChurch), a fabulous Baroque building completed in 1737. Next up is the Hundertwasserhaus, a famous apartment house in the Landstrasse district that was built after the design of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

Across the river, you’ll see the imposing Wiener Prater, a large public park famous for its giant Ferris wheel, the Riesenrad. Continue along the Danube and make your way to the Postsparkasse (the Austrian Postal Savings Bank building), built in the early 1900s by architect Otto Wagner, who designed many Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) buildings in Vienna.

Next, head to Stadtpark, a city park where you’ll see the golden Johann Strauss monument. You’ll then return tothe Ringstrasse for the end of a very active day of sightseeing by bike!
