Together with Slovakia until December 31, 1992, the Czech Republic went through a very difficult period after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989. Despite the euphoria of freedom, the people had to face the shock of crossing the free economy. The federation with Slovakia was dismantled in one, as it was called, velvet divorce, and the Czech Republic undertook reforms, using the pre-existing production infrastructure, managed to put the country in the European Union. Rich history, cultures, architectural wealth, beautiful cities, good and constantly improving tourism infrastructure, cheap consumer prices, traditions and customs of interest for visitors, home of the Black Theatre and the Puppet, the Czech Republic is waiting to welcome us.
