Discover two of China's national treasures on this full-day tour of Xi'an. First, encounter adorable giant pandas, an endangered species, in beautiful Louguantai National Forest Park. Then, visit one of China's most highly acclaimed attractions: the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Terracotta Army, or the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Private transportation, an expert English-speaking guide and a traditional home-cooked lunch in a local farmer's home are included.

Pickup from your Xi’an hotel in the morning will take you to the panda gardens near the Louguantai National Forest Park. This massive 68,000-acre (27,500-hectare) park is surrounded by green hills and crystal-clear rivers, and houses several vulnerable and endangered animal species, including giant pandas.

With your guide, admire the adorable giant pandas as they eat, lounge and play, and see other rare animals such as golden-haired monkeys.

Next, head to the Terracotta Warriors reproduction factory to learn about how the Terracotta Army was created over 2,200 years ago in ancient China. Afterward, go to a local farmer’s house to enjoy a scrumptious home-cooked meal before continuing to Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum to see the Terracotta Army, or the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Learn how these world-famous figures were produced more than 2,200 years ago and served as sacrificial objects to accompany the emperor in his afterlife.

After your tour, you’ll be taken back to your Xi'an hotel.
