After private pickup from your Xian hotel, head to the Xian Banpo Museum, featuring archaeological findings from a Neolithic matriarchal community. With your guide, tour the site's two exhibition halls housing prehistoric artifacts and see an excavated Neolithic village exhibiting the regions primitive past.

Re-board the minivan and continue 40 minutes to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, one of Chinas most celebrated archaeological discoveries. Before beginning your tour, enjoy the hospitality of the locals over a traditional lunch in a familys home.

On your tour of the Terracotta Warriors, your expert guide will show you around the various pits containing over 8,000 soldiers, 130 bronze chariots and nearly 700 horses.
